Bored? I found this image super interesting and have been waiting for just the right post to use it. Perhaps after repeatedly misfiring in my brain, I simply cannot think of a better image to kickoff the Bored? Category for the new Kalos Interactive Design Blog. This category will hopefully be a wealth of posts dedicated for those counting-down the minutes to go-home, while sitting anxiously in their cubicles, or perhaps for design friendly insomniacs. Blogs and social media, while I am a fan of in general (no pun intended), can be rather mundane and simply uninteresting. Do we really need to know what you’re doing while sitting in the bathroom? The Bored? category hopes to be the antithesis of just that. So go ahead, immerse yourself in some of these posts that I find interesting enough to curate for this section. Note: I was contemplating this image for a post about Angry Birds and how interesting it’s rise in popularity and it’s downright addictiveness, but I simply decided against it; these birds don’t look so angry. I like their style!
